SUSY is a scientifically and algorithm-based methodology that analyzes and evaluates the integrated sustainability of packaging and compares it with the best possible and technically feasible solution.
SUSY was developed as a new standard for assessing the integrated sustainability of eco friendly packaging. This standard enables the scientific substantiation of environmental claims within the SUSY Score. According to the EU Green Claims Directive, companies that want to advertise with environmental claims need an “independent third party” to justify their statements in the future.

Scoring
The SUSY scoring is a comparison to the best packaging solution in the respective category (at the time of evaluation).
Algorithm
Our algorithm evaluates on the basis of the information provided by manufacturers and laboratories as well as the backup data criteria and weighting in relation to each other.
Manufacturer
Packaging information is transferred to the algorithm.
Laboratories
Our laboratories examine and evaluate material, circularity, functionality and declaration. In addition, the weight of the contents and packaging is checked.
